    Body Mind was different from anything I had ever tried.

    My primary interest was fueled by the claims that this method is aimed at drastically improving concentration and decreasing ADHD.


    After practicing Body Mind Method for several weeks, even without daily consistency I am very pleased to report that even in a short term application Yana’s set of exercises I observed almost instantaneous surge of mind concentration which is required for all sort of tasks from creative work to solving complicated analytical problems.


    The observed effect was comparable to the state of the mind which is well rested and stimulated with the compounds such as caffeine. Body Mind exercises don’t have to be practiced every day - even a “quick fix”, a 10-15 mins set bring your mind into the fully primed state ready for task solving.


    Another equally impressive aspect of Body Mind method is the discovery and release of your body’s hidden local tensions spots. I have been a practitioner of various martial arts and Yoga for most of my life but I have never come across exercises which would address this specific issue. Practicing sitting meditation prior to the martial art class or doing Yoga’s Shavasana restorative pose helps to calm and relax your mind but does not release the “hidden” muscle pressure and tension in various part of the body. After just a few sets of exercises I was able to detect and relax spasms in my back and shoulders of which I was not aware before and which seems to have been there even in the “relaxed” state of my body.


    I am planning to adopt this method into my daily routine to keep my mind sharp and to address the issue of body tensions to prevent them from chronic conditions.

    Although I am in great shape, some exercises were challenging for me as they weren't similar to something I have done before. Over time, I got used to it and became better at many of the activities.


    I liked that the exercises and poses changed frequently, which ensured that the training stayed fun, as well as the fact that the exercises were short enough to easily fit into my work schedule.


    I started to feel the loss of fatigue, a gain in strength, less heaviness in the body, and the subsidy of weakness, which gave me the motivation to keep going.
